If you are an apprentice or employed in the motor industry:

  • Receiving little or no financial support

  • You are committed to pursuing a defined goal in relation to education, training or employment in the motor industry

For both training and welfare applications please provide two independent references supporting your application. A referee could be your employer, a College Lecturer, a health professional, CAB. You will also need to provide information about your finances.

If it sounds like we could help follow these three simple steps:

1. Give the Case Secretary, Jane Pocock, a call on 01883 371280 or email her at and have a chat about your situation.

2. If Jane thinks the Trust may be able to help she will send you an application form to complete.

3. Send the form back and the BMTA Trustees will talk through all the requests they receive and make a decision.
